Because the Dems run guys like Beto O'Rourke against him?

I mean, it's freaking Texas. Go find a Latin guy with the charisma and gravitas of an Edward James Olmos - somebody who can easily expose Ted as the tin-eared insincere nitwit he is - and go clean up the way Raphael Warnock did in Georgia. Kelly Loeffler was unlikable; she wasn't half as unlikable as Cruz is.

If you're serious about taking the seat, find a serious dude to go get it for you. The DNC needs to do a better job recruiting and developing candidates.

I've never heard anyone say they like Cruz from either party. He's well-known as being the least liked person in Congress. Then he goes and flies to Cancun when people are dying from the cold or votes against helping vets and it just astounds me that he's likely to win re-election again. I just don't understand the reasoning.

I don't disagree with you about the DNC needs to find better candidates, but in this case, it just seems like anything/anyone would be better than Cruz.
