Beware of Coot Nurses in hospitals

Just a piece of advice to all former Tiger Players. Yesterday, I had some minor surgery on my ear/eustachian tube in Greenville at Patewood Medical Center. As they prepped me for the surgery, one of the surgerical nurses found out I was a former Clemson Football player and she began talking about Clemson Baseball since she and her husband were good friends with new coach Bakich and attend all the home games. All the Doctors, Anesthesiologists, and surgical nurses were all Tigers and we were really yuking it up. Then this Nurse, who was a really nice black lady, announced that she was a South Carolina Gamecock Fan. The room was already cold and now it went deathly silent. Somebody HAD to say something. Well, leave it to me! So I blurted out: "Yeah, we had a baseball coach at Clemson who was a Coot and we brushed him up on the art of losing baseball games, then sent him back to Columbia where he would feel more at home in a losing environment." All the Tigers in the room were hooting.......the Coot Lady was not! That was the last thing I remember before they sent me to that happy place in lala land and everything went black. When I awoke in recovery, the leg pressure pumps had been put on my calves too tightly while I was asleep, my stomach muscles feel like I had been doing sit ups all day or somebody elbowed me in the belly while I was asleep and my tongue was cut open from some tool they shoved in my mouth improperly. The point is this. Coots are mean spirited people. Never, ever make one of them mad right before they put you to sleep. They know they cannot beat you when you are awake and God only knows what they do to us when we are asleep.

Well…you know, like “below the waste”…
Lord knows what she may have down if you were going in for a Hemorrhoidectomy or a vasectomy etc!

I work at memorial....
I don't see many chicken nurses...
But they're a lot beautiful Clemson nursing students doing internships on the daily!!!
