Might be fun to tailgate. We walked all over campus last time.

Making the trek from PA

Leaving PA on Thursday and staying until Monday morning. I’ve never been to that part of the country. GO TIGERS!

May have to ride a unicycle, but headed to South Bend in November.

Driving from PA as well. Leaving earlier in the week and making a stop in Canton to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Passed through there about 5 years ago

They got no business calling Clemson "rural". That place is nothing but farms and cows. Pot calling kettle black.

South Bend's beautiful if you like campuses with 10 square miles of corn in every direction. Causes one to realize the inspiration for all the "Children of the Corn" type movies.

We're thinking about renting a van, staying with an ND fan (who was at the hurricane game and became a yuge Clemson fan). What do you think? Doable?

Where you camping? The only place I found that was close was the KOA.

I’d love to, just don’t think my 4 yr old and 2 yr old would share the same sentiment. I’ve heard they roll up tractor trailers that have been made into makeshift bars., into the parking areas. Sounds like fun

Me and my Dad and a friend flew to the game. The flight was from Charleston to Savannah, to Chicago OHare and then a puddle jumper to South Bend. I remember lots of Tiger fans on the flights, all decked out in Orange. When we arrived on campus we were very warmly greeted by local "Domers" who said stuff like "of course we know about Clemson, SC", "we know who Danny Ford is". We were pretty surprised at their recognition of our school.

I remember that though it was mid Nov. in Indiana it was a very warm day and our party was way overdressed! Sweating like it was a home game in Sept. Our seats were actually folding chairs on the field in front of the stands. Given the "dome" of the field surface, when the teams were on the far side of the field, you could only see the players from the waist up. Comical! Great day!

Go Tigers!

Flew up to Detroit in '79 and stayed with a cousin in Belleville Mi. She is not a football fan (Alumni E. Mich) so went with the husbands of two other cousins and a friend of theirs and drove through Southern Michigan to South Bend Ind. Beautiful country drive. Deer Season started that day in Michigan and that night they reported how many deer and been killed and how many hunters had been shot. Very short Season.
