Had a coot tell me Beastley didn't have to face SEC O-lines

Jul 21, 2014, 5:06 PM

like the Clown did. I guess I should have reminded him 4 of Beasley's 13 sacks came against SEC O-lines, last year.

but yet Clowney looked pathetic against UNC! An "ACC" O-line!

Tell your Coot buddy to quit drinking his $EC Kool-aid and get a clue!!

Go Tigers!!!

Huh, last I checked Georgia and Florida St had pretty good o-lines um not to mention ours. As a fellow Coot I'll have to disagree with this guy.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So he got more than twice as many sacks against SEC

Jul 21, 2014, 7:54 PM

O-lines on average than he did against ACC and others? Interesting.

He's right Florida State's offensive is the country's best, that's not S-E-C.

3 of their linemen will go in the NFL draft top 3 rounds next year.

The man is a beast ... SEC, NFL , whoever he is a beast. He will ramp it up again this year. I have no doubt.

Beasley had 9 of his 13 sacks in the first 6 games.....meaning once teams started game planning for him he had 4 sacks over the last 7 games. Beasley relies on speed....he's a rush specialist.....he's not someone offensive coordinators fear in the running game.

Then run at him.

Just think - if he played an SEC schedule - he would have had 26 sacks instead of 13.

Even if he is a pass-rush specialist, sure seemed like he was on the field a lot last year. Maybe you shouldn't get yourself is passing situations? But that's okay, Grady will be right there for the run game

Superdawg clueless as usual. Nothing in film to suggest that he's a liability in the run game. Two years ago, yes. But last year he played the run just fine. It's almost as if the wide 9 technique in a G front doesn't have to be a 285 lb run stuffer. Crazy talk, I know.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The Clown didn't face them last year either

Jul 21, 2014, 9:47 PM

most of the time.

Most plays he gave up before the play had even developed.

Who has the sack record in memorial stadium?

Who cares? That's completely arbitrary. Who has the record for most plays taken off in a junior season? Just as relevant.

More yards gained when on field than when off field***
