little help please!!

I am attempting to restore my old Chevy and I am almost ready for paint......I have attempted to locate a color code for the same color as the helmets the truck is already orange but want to got with the orange pearl/flake on current helmets

home depot carries the collegiate colors.. maybe start there***

Buy a mini helment with the shade you like and take it to the automotive paint store and they will match it .

They use a meter to do it but I cant spell the name of it .

and there used to be a list of the official colors on clemsontigers.com that had the name and standardized PMS color number. Using that number a professional can match the color. Post pictures when you are done!

paint orders for the Clemson Athletic Dept. (roommate of mine in school worked out there) and they'll have the code, which they could probably fax to any Sherwin Williams.

Thanks for the suggestions...I've tried the mini helmet but all I can get in the midwest is plastic and really want the flake....I will post some pics as soon as I get it painted but it might take a while I am doing the work myself and with two jobs it only leaves a little time...I am going to ghost the paw on the hood with prism flake and it has a wood bed so I am gonna try to burn the outline of the paw in the bed and polyurethane over it.
