So by supporting this new concept of non-discrimination it must follow that the NCAA will allow men that dress as women to compete in women's sports? Isn't that the next step? If someone "feels" like being a different gender they must now be allowed to fully participate in all activities related to their preferred gender. This could get interesting real fast.

our constitutional rights have been slowly whittled away in this country over the last 40 years, and some of you just bend over and smile.
illegal search and seizure cruel and unusual punishment freedom of the press religious freedom
etc ...

United States of the Blackmailed
If they looked deep enough they could find a reason in every state to not have their events there. I bet you 95% of the people on those committees do not agree with this transgender thing and bathrooms.
And what the hell does that have to do with sports?
Also, is the ncaa going to allow a man that thinks he is a women compete on the lady teams and vice versa? Only fair thing to do. After all, The decision comes after laws were passed in several states allowing residents to refuse services to someone based on their gender identity or sexual orientation. They would have to practice what they preach

Maybe this means that the ACC will stop having so many events in NC.

Having the ACC Tournament, ACC football championship, ACC baseball championship, etc. in NC so often has gotten old. Yawn.

Just curious, where would you like the ACC football championship to be played? I personally love Charlotte from a proximity standpoint. Did not enjoy the trip to Tampa in 09. Agree about spreading the other tournaments around though, especially baseball.

Under those terms any of us can hang out in the women's

Restroom soon to be called the Y-M-C-A. The law says that you go to the one that coresponds with your ########.
That's it...
Next it will be we are decriminating on the rights of those prefer children or we aren't recognizing the diesease.
It's not this hard, my daughters go in a women's restroom in public that I stand outside of and a man walks in and says I'm not looking. I would hurt him.
We are giving our rights for the very few.

I've thought about that myself, but how do you know for certain that a man is not ALREADY IN THAT BATHROOM? Yeah - that would not be a pretty site if I saw a man walking out before my wife/daughter. This will get ugly before those idiots wake up.

I guess now they're just making that more obvious. There desperately needs to be change at the top of that organization.

W/ SC with the NAACP boycott due to the Confederate flag. They won't do predetermined sites like final 4 & championships, but stuff up in the air like baseball & softball regionals will still be granted.
The NCAA is just pandering to politically correct crowds. You think they care about LBGT issues when they pretty much showed last week that academic integrity doesn't mean jack to them? They'll say & do anything to stay in good graces in public eye & while laughing their way to the bank w/ the millions of $$$ they make off member schools & fans.
