Did nobody mention to him that he could play in the $EC ?

Isn't this like the 12th catcher to commit

Oct 27, 2015, 12:30 PM

Since Coach Lee took the helm haven't we had like 12 catchers commit? Couple of pitchers maybe an infielder or two and all the rest have been catchers.

You can never have too many catchers

There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

I don't think we have had a problem with having to many Hurlers lately.

This kid comes from Lexington, SC; which is a hot bed for baseball talent in our state. They have a huge youth baseball program that produces a lot of college level talent. Coach already knows this because several of his players from the College of Charleston came from Lexington. I have been watching this recruit play rec ball since he was four years old. Even at that age, you knew there was something special about this young man. He has only continued to grow and improve at each level. He will do great things at Clemson. Kudos to our coach for recognizing and recruiting great in state talent, that seemed to get ignored in past years.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHECK OUR ROSTER THE LAST FEW YEARS. PLEASE, IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FORMER STAFF, DO A LITTLE HOMEWORK. THERE WERE PLENTY OF THINGS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. INSTATE RECRUITING WAS NOT ONE.

I just want to say that Coach Lee will end up being a Grand Slam for Clemson Baseball before long. He is at a school now where that it's history in BB will help him in getting some of the best talent in recruiting. And he has proven that he can win without the top recruits. Imagine a team of his with a roster loaded with top D1 talent.
