What a freakin cannon for an arm. Holy crap. Flick of the wrist and its 50 yards down the field. Maybe im missing something here on why he wasnt more highly recruited, idk, you recruiting gurus tell me why but dang does he have a cannon for an arm. Wow.

I assume one of the reasons he was not heavily recruited as a QB was that he was an early baseball commit to Georgia. He liked the baseball program there, but I do not believe they were interested in him as a QB for the football team.

When Clemson came knocking and offered him a chance to participate in both sports, he did not hesitate and joined the Tigers, lucky for us.

He’s fluid in the pocket and throws well on the run. Very impressive to say the least. I’m glad we won’t be playing against him.

His arm strength is decent, we have been a bit spoiled here. He has nice touch and accuracy, but he is not slinging that thing in there on a frozen rope. Guys like Lawrence and DJ can throw across the far hash on a 20 yard out route and just kind of zip it in there with incredible velocity. I am not seeing this here.

I like this kid though, arm strength is not everything, making good decisions seems to be a strength.

Just to be clear on his arm strength, because sometimes it's hard to measure when throwing a football, he has been clocked over 95 mph when pitching this spring.

That is the same number that was mentioned when DJ U was mentioned as a baseball prospect.

I think his arm is plenty strong enough and may be the reason he never sets foot on Clemson's campus as a football player.
