New stadium lights?

I know new LED lighting was discussed in the beginning of the stadium
improvements project, but I have not seen anything about them since then.
Anyone have any word on whether we will have new lights next season?

From January, '22:
Video Board, Lights & Sound: The board in the east, in place since 2010, was 65 feet wide by 25 feet tall (1,625 sq. ft.). The new board will measure 125 feet wide by 57 feet tall (7,125 sq. ft.), or nearly five times the surface area. Included would be a new speaker array sound system. The two west videoboards and ribbon boards throughout will also be updated. New LED lights will be installed in the stadium, and there will be updates to the stadium signage.

Is there any information on the details of the two west video boards replacements, like the size? Would be an interesting look if they were much bigger, probably more vertical room than horizontal room for those two which is the opposite of modern video boards. But you could do like a stack of 2 on each side, would be interesting.

Blue flashing lights would be waste of money in cootville. Their football team does a perfectly fine job of clearing the stadium 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter every game.

grrowl noted the other day this about lights:
"Yes one of the athletic dept. officials was talking about being able to notice work soon on the new LED lighting on the radio broadcast during halftime of the spring game last Saturday. Also believe I heard them say the "Clemson Welcomes You To Death Valley" signage on the upper deck facade is going to light up too."

I was wondering if they are getting new light stands as well or if they are using the current metal poles. Would be nice if they were getting something more modern or a little more pleasing to the eye.

Completely agree more modern light stands would a big improvement. Something spanning the upper decks (not like coots) but more like FSU or Heinz Field would be cool. A thin bar of lights across the upper deck is what I'm talking about.
I don't think it is going to happen though. I attended a DC-Baltimore Clemson Club Zoom meeting a while ago where DRad spoke and if my memory serves, he said they were using the existing light poles.

abysmal. Four sets, night games look like "dusk", or one of those old high school friday night games from the 60's. Never got why this was.

I just hope there will be additional Verizon antennas on top of whatever lights are in place. It should not take 10 minutes to even get an error message if you try to send a picture from the stadium.
