Liftiing up prayers for all who have already been affected,

and those who are certain to BE affected by this massive hurricane Ian. It is approaching Category FIVE level, the highest rating they have. Torrential rains, damaging winds, and a huge storm surge flood are expected along Florida's coast.

May Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ hold these his children in the palm of his hand, and spare them from His Nature's Holocaust. May the plans of man for these situations be sufficient to save as many people as humanly possible, but their fate is ultimately in God's Hands. I pray a prayer of Intercession, may He turn aside the anger of Nature and allow many to be saved.

We are not worthy, we have legislated Him out of our lives as much as we humanly can as a decadent society. And yet, when faced with the Power of Nature, and our own imminent destruction, we still call on His Name. And, for those who are truly repentant, He will answer. That is called the freely given Grace of God. None of us gets that Grace by being worthy, but by having a true heart that will believe on Him, and have the final good sense to ask for forgiveness of our sins, and for that freely given Gift. Many are going to be faced with that final decision today, and in the coming hours that follow this storms landfall.

I am not anywhere near the predicted swath of destruction of this storm. I lift this prayer for those who are. I, and many others have seen what storms of this magnitude can do. Hugo, Katrina. No one who lived through either will ever doubt the Power of Nature again. I appeal to He who created that Power, and can control any outcome, if that were His desire. But, He allows us to be human, to have free will, and with that come all the ills and failure that man can devise. Only God can save us from that. I pray that He will. Thank You, Jesus.
Amen.
