I understand how upsetting it must have been for some people who waited and waited for a chance to get an autograph and didn't, or watched their kids cry because they didn't get to meet their favorite player, but that's life. There are days things go as planned and there are days when they don't. The trick is to make the best of the days that go awry. My son and I were camping at Keowee last weekend. We had planned a great adventure but flash flooding forced us to leave early. Undaunted my son said, "Dad, can we go to Clemson on the way home." I was proud of his ability to turn a bad situation good and told him we would. After eating at Peppino's we went by the stadium where it just so happened the team was loading up on the trams to go to practice. Out of the Westzone came Chad Morris, and Brent Venables who said hey to us. We watched as the team rode by. Tajh waived at my son. It was a great moment and it came out of plans going terribly wrong. When life gives you lemons make lemonade. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. What do we do? We swim.
