My fishing story from last week.

Wife loves the beach. I get bored. The plan was I was gonna bump some shrimp along the bottom wade fishing while she sat and watched the waves. Problem was it was too windy.

One day, after we got back to the room and she took a nap, I went to a local park on the intercoastal. It had a pier. I threw the shrimp and let it drift with the current. Caught nine in about an hour. Problem was they were all catfish. But, I didn't care. I was gonna catch and release whatever they were. Had fun reeling them in. Did a pretty good job setting the hook. Only one swallowed the hook. The others I managed to retrieve without harming the fish (or having to dig in the mouth with pliers).

Not bad for a guy who is at best just a recreational fisherman.
