Let's talk cost to benefit ratio

Oct 4, 2015, 3:22 PM

The benefits of having game day is huge. It's basically a 3hr Clemson (the university as much as the team) commercial. We call it free advertising but it's not. Someone mentioned that Bowman is a war zone this morning, which will cost significant dollars to repair. What other costs are associated with them coming in?

This is just the engineer coming out and asking. I still think the benefits outweigh the costs, but my curiosity is up now

This is a really big math problem. The benefits are probably an even bigger math problem.

The economic benefits to the city and school far out weigh some ruts in Bowman field.

We send them a bill for repairs to Bowman after gameday comes.
