Hmmm... Texas A&M Regents meeting....

Is it possible for Texas A&M to get so pissed at the SEC for bringing in Texas that they actually leave the SEC? A&M leaving the SEC is akin to cutting off their nose to spite their face but maybe their hatred of Texas runs that deep. Who knows - maybe there is an opportunity here for the ACC to make an offer to Texas A&M....

In my opinion, A&M would be a good pick up. Very much like Clemson with their history.

The Aggies have gotten screwed over, but they aren’t going anywhere. SEC will throw enough money in front of them to have them stay.

A&M has enough money that I am not sure that losing a little from the SEC would affect their decision. I like A&M but I think that gets the conference awfully spread out. As one person mentioned, football and basketball might not be a big deal, but there are a lot of smaller sports to take into consideration as well.

In a word; "yes". But the ain't coming without something more than Clemson in the conference. That's why our rookie ACC commissioner needs to get Notre dame FULLY onboard with the ACC.
