This seems pretty clear to me, so I have trouble understanding why some of y'all don't get it.
Under the Trump administration families who sought asylum together were deliberately torn apart to try to discourage other people from seeking asylum. The conditions under which they were held were deliberately made as harsh as possible (outside aid and assistance was repeatedly refused) for the same purpose. Liberals were rightfully alarmed and dismayed at such cold-blooded treatment of families and children.
In those four years, lots of the tools to adequately and humanely deal with asylum seekers were allowed or forced to languish.
Now, the Biden administration is trying once again to humanely deal with asylum seekers, a growing number of which are unaccompanied children. They are doing their best to care for these kids despite the decrepit state of affairs that Trump left things in.
I think there is plenty of room for improvement in our response to these kids, but is certainly not the deliberate and willful mistreatment that they suffered at the hands of the Trump administration.
I will judge the Biden administration more harshly as time goes on - if they don't make significant progress in these conditions - but I will never, never feel justified to judge them as harshly as I do the callous, un-American way that the Trump administration treated vulnerable families.

It worked. So what is your point?
45 year low says hello as you all infiltrate the US with illegals during a pandemic. Trumps policies discouraged human trafficking (remember that part of this problem?) and while maybe making some uncomfortable, saved a ton.
Biden is just throwing his hands in the air as traffickers are ###### and selling women and children, dumping them over the border and killing innocents......and all the while, “there is no crisis”.
