Tough loss. Outplayed and out-coached by a Syracuse team that came hungry and ready to play. However, I was just asked if this details the entire season. Though I am a Clemson fan, I'll attempt to be as unbiased and realistic as possible with my answer. This is the way I'm choosing to look at it.
So far, we have three really big, quality wins (let's not forget: this years team is the first team in NCAA history to beat three Top 15 teams to start the season). And so, realistically, with the way we've come to learn that the selection committee actually votes, (factoring in major things like SOS, conference play, and quality of wins), we could very easily get a mulligan on this game tonight with a strong chance of still making the playoff...if we win out. And if Kelly Bryant isn't out for an extended period of time. I cannot emphasize that last point enough.
Also, friendly reminder: ZERO undefeated teams have won the National Championship in the playoff era. R-e-l-a-x
