unfortunately they are down. I think RB is better depth wise or the same depth wise. I think DL is the same or better, certainly deeper.
Taking the high point and comparing it to any time is an exercise in frustration. Would the 2016 team beat the 2019? Who knows? Were the Tigers better in 2018 than 2019? 2018 destroyed the "greatest" team ever. They sure didn't beat LSU in 2019. Comparing Lawrence as a JR to Klubnick as an inexperienced sophomore is unfair, but if we win it all by a miracle this year what would your rating be?
In short who knows what the 2023 team will be?

He was great in mopup time after Lawrence, Etienne, and co. had already won the game. When he had to compete full time, you see what happened.

Dixon went head to head against Shipley and Mafah in 2021 and couldn't beat out either of them, and had to transfer. He didn't do anything at his new school either.
So tell me agsin how Dixon is better?

as you say is the RB group. While we do not have a breakaway threat like ETN, we have at least THREE very high quality guys right now, with unknown frosh still coming in.

Had we won the 2020 title you could argue it was the best team in NCAA history. I’d still put it top 10 all time even without the title (Note - LSU was pretty good that year).
I’d say we’re in good shape for 2023.

Qb- so far down it was unbelievable, Down further than the Mariana Trench.

We are all thrilled by our two national championships under Dabo, and some of us are sad to see our program decline with no return to elite status in sight.
Our program has some issues that need to be addressed, whether your pride is willing to admit it or not.

I am saying that when the comparison is against a team playing for the national championship, there will always be a downward trend. It's not that difficult to understand. If your expectation is to maintain a perineal championship team, then I can only imagine how you've suffered through the NIT debacle.
