Let's compare Dabo and Jack . . .

Both coaches have been owned in recent years by the coots. That's where the comparison ends.

In football we appear to be getting better - in the last 3 years we've won the ACC Championship, 2 division titles, and gone to 2 BCS bowls, beat 2 top 10 teams in bowls, and finished in the top 10 twice.

Our baseball team has not been nearly as successful in recent years, and the trend has been the other way. Jack has one ACC Championship in the last 18 years, and that was 8 years ago. We've been to the College World Series (BCS Bowl) once in the last 7 years.

There really is no comparison. Jack is not a bad coach, and in fact, his overall record is pretty impressive, but he has been here a very long time and the direction of the program is not what it should be.

You are right. Dabo has made us a better football team. Our 2 losses this year were to teams that ended up in the top 5. There are many football fan bases that would trade places with us. I can't say the same for baseball.
