Making jokes of a gentleman’s name is about the most disrespectful thing a person could do. But you can do that hiding behind a bogus user name and feel good about yourself. Mr. Brownell is a classy gentlemen and would never stoop to the level of many tigernetters.

I didn’t impune the man’s character or performance record whatsoever - the post is neutral as Switzerland. There is no underhanded slight implied by the reference to pneumatic fasteners. It’s humor for humor’s sake, neither for veiled disparagement nor obsequious fawning.

I will make silly puns and dad jokes out of any material I can. Levity is healthy, sir.
