Kyshaun Bryan Decommits From Cootville

Jan 28, 2017, 3:15 PM

RB Kyshaun Bryan decommits from USuC. Seems they are having trouble retaining 3 star athletes.
If they lose Jamyest Williams the Suicide Prevention Hotline is going to need to add a lot of staff to answer phones.

Correction: DeCOOTment.

Jan 28, 2017, 4:11 PM

Definition: Decootment - Verb, - When a football recruit realizes that hot mess of a football program in the armpit of South Carolina will never be relevant, and has no future, and moves on to something better.

This was not a DeCoot.

This kid was basically cut loose, offered a greyshirt at the last minute by Chump because after taking the kid's commitment months ago, they now maybe will not have room. Just more sh!tty coaching by the Chump. You take a kid's commitment , you honor it , unless he does something to disqualify himself.

Yep. And this is the second kid he has screwed over like this.

Burning bridges, yo.

How do they not have room with all the decootments?

Jan 28, 2017, 9:28 PM [ in reply to This was not a DeCoot. ]

Seems like they are losing a recruit almost daily, so it is hard to understand how they don't have room.

Scummy tactic to cut a young man loose at the last minute though, if true.

Doubt they really have enough spaces for those still

committed. Didn't they promote themselves as being young ? That's mean they didn't have that many Seniors. SEC Roster Management .

They have been doing this for years. Remember when Spurrier

asked Lorenzo Mauldin to sign a blank piece of paper at his signing day ceremony?

They don't have many Seniors because of all those great players that entered the NFL Draft early the last two seasons.. Umm.. right? Lol

This kind of stuff will come back to bite the chumpster in the butt. One of many things I have come to respect about Dabo is when he offers a kid and they are committed to Clemson, the scholarship is theirs to lose. Even if they are injured and have to give up football, has Dabo still not honored the kids scholarship? And I think it showed tremendous class when Dabo gave a scholarship to Kevin Turners son Nolan. That kind of good stuff is always rewarded.

IMO the Coots 2017 class could fall apart by signing day. And it is crap like telling a committed recruit he is being offered a greh shirt instead of a full scholarship is the kind of BS that will do it.

you would think that after the other decootments

Jan 29, 2017, 6:23 AM [ in reply to This was not a DeCoot. ]

and pending decootments that they wouldn't need to grayshirt players.

According to FGF's scholarship breakdown including Bryan's cootmitment that are at 80. They list 18 cootmints and 247 has 21 including Williams, so they appear to be under the limit by at least 2 or 3. Who are all their last minute commitments that would bump Bryan to a greyshirt?
