What is your favorite away venue?

Of the away games that I've been to, I would have to vote for UVA given the proximity to Monticello.

I never made it to the Orange Bowl, went to the 09 Miami game. I always heard the Orange Bowl was in a dangerous part of Miami, was that more or less true?

Farmers from upstate SC cared.
I got lost a lot, seems like the only way I could find it was to drive through the airport.
Heck of a trip, sleeping on floors and eating Raman noodles and 99 cent frozen pizza.
The ride back was SO sweet .

Was the Nebraska fans. They were all there in their travel homes all decked out. We had never played each other so there was no animosity , just a lot of good back and forth.
Very friendly and inquisative (where is Clemson exactly ? Etc.)
Best roady ever.

Little Havana and the Overtown neighbor hood.
Last game there I tailgated with a DEA agent, he was carrying and said stick close to me.
But hey I've got some great memories of that dump!

They have flea markets out in the parking lots before the game, with weird stuff and every kind of food under the sun, and BEER. Didn't even go to the game. Obviously wasn't Clemson so didn't really care.

Agree, Bows games used to be great when I went mid 90's. They were terrible then, but a few decent teams would come every year and we would get tickets through the base to see them. Bought the cheap tickets, say where ever we wanted usually, and ate like Kings if you acted right and met locals tailgating. The locals are wonderful people if you act right, and there is no eating like Hawaiin eating The flea Market is always fun, could always get like 3 Local T Shirts for $10.00. Good times.

Yep. Nice stadium whose employees are happy to have someone to sell to. They stood at the gate and thanked us for coming as we left.
