Kudos to Shaw for stepping down. At 12 years, he cared enough for his school

And didn’t think he was effective as he should be and stepped down. Would take a big man to step down after 12 years. Come to think of it Shaw was successful many of those years while some coaches who have coached for 12 years have not been.

Shaw had a .333 winning percentage his last four seasons at Stanford.

Brad has only had one losing season in his 12 years at Clemson, and that was ten years ago.

Love to see him at Clemson in some staff position.

That would be a credit to him if they were better than 3-9 this year and last year. There is retiring and then there is pressure to retire.

Sadly, they did not teach the principles of the Japanese school of business management in the MBA program at Bama. The honorable move for lack of coaching performance is to “fall on the sword” and resign gracefully as an assistant coach. Then head back to Eastaboga Community College to redeem yourself.
