Whoa..and LSU has had 3 top 5 D recruiting classes.

Their 2nd string QB is good though.

because their fans are trash and I enjoyed hearing about them getting boat raced last night.

That said, they could have pulled an A&M and bailed on this game, and justifiably so. LSU had fewer than 40 scholarship players available for the game. In addition, starting quarterback Max Johnson transferred to Texas A&M, the backup Myles Brennan was recovering from surgery, and the third-string guy would have burned his redshirt to play, so they started a senior WR at QB who hadn't played QB since high school in 2016.

However, in spite of all those challenges, LSU elected to play so props to them for that.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Of the 11 starters on defense in their opener against UCLA only one started last night against Kansas State. Also played their 4th string Qb last night. I'm not sure he is actually a Qb.
