PGA -Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Looks like we only have 2 TIGERS to follow this week. Byrd and Ben (Martin) are playing. Lucas dropped out, and I was reading that a lot of pro's dropped because of the flights and the covid restrictions. Said you had to show vaccine card and/or isolated 14 days.

Still, I thought we may have seen more. Didn't see anything about a qualifier. Maybe our guys just concentrated on the kft finals.

There was a qualifier back on the 18th, but no Tigers were in it.

Dang, thought JB may be having a rough start at +2 until the other scores started coming in. A good many of the morning rounds have started and/or finished and the leader is just -2. Ben's just getting started... Birdied the 1st. Byrd, a few holes left to make a couple birdies.

Welp, that went a little south. Ben was showing -2 going to 18 and in the top 20. Checked again and he bogeyed 18... Darn. But they also took away his bird on 16. So he ended t36 and Even on the day. He had an ugly bogey on the par 3 4th. Played 143 and looked straightforward. 4 greenside bunkers. Got up and down on 2 and bogeyed 2. Also missed an easy birdie opportunity on the par 5 7th. Leaders at -6 but not many low scores.

Jonathon finished at +1 and t51. Numbers could move up or down as the field finishes. Good position for great rounds tomorrow!
