KJ should stay another year, put his name in the hat for

Apr 2, 2014, 11:12 AM

national player of the year and the hall of fame at Clemson. I would like to see him come back and become a legend. Get his number hanging from the rafters! He can always improve and help the team.

I'm against anybody getting their money

I know this isn't popular on here but I'm a proud capitalist and there are no garauntees in sports. As much as I'd like to see KJ return, I think the best thing for him is to turn pro. Unlike football, there is a developmental league in the nba where players can develope their game against better talent than in college. KJ has all the tools to be a solid two guard if he can better his jumpshot, including his shooting motion. Brownell is a defensive coach, one analyst during an nit game said brownell gets as many calls as anybody in the offseason from other coaches trying to pick his brain about the defensive side of the ball. KJ's athleticism can make him an absolute defensive stud in the nba, however I feel is offense will improve more in the D-League next year than at Clemson.

I agree that KJ should stay one more year. If you are not selected in the first round, you have zero guarantees. If you look at the mock drafts, KJ looks to be a second rounds pick. Mostly do to the great freshmen that are declaring this year. Next year draft options are not as good, KJ would easily make the first round. It would also give him another year to work on his outside game. A must for the NBA.
