He speaks the truth. Until AFTER the game I thought LSU mightnhave had some staying power too. But since the game starting with their post game celebration stuff, Brady leaving, Aranda leaving, early departures, etc....not so much.
They had a great season but they're not returning to CFP anytime soon.

A program has effectively 'shot its wad'. There is little 'sustaining' within the LSU program...at least from a positive perspective.
Clemson have shown far and away more class in losing that LSU has touched upon in winning. Winning would have been sweet, but not doing so isn't failure for the season or program. Perspective matters...and Clemson swims in the proper perspective.

I agree. Yes they won the season and should celebrate but it feels like they put everything into this season now everyone is leaving. I agree with every point Kirk is saying

thinking. They caught lightening in a bottle and had a great year and deserved the title. But their culture is likely going to lead to "one and done". Predicting Coach O is gone by the next time we play them. Les Miles won it all too in 2007 and didn't fully let the inmates run the asylum and they canned him when he couldn't repeat.
