Stepson last night (14) . We were having a discussion about an opinion and he said everyone’s opinion is right bc his teacher said everyone can have an opinion. So I said sure, for normal things but not all opinions are right, if your opinion is that slavery is ok or it’s ok to molest children then that opinion isn’t correct.
He said it still was correct bc everyone is allowed an opinion per his teacher. I just had to stop the conversation bc it was asinine. I’m all for free thought but some opinions are wrong morally.

And actually thinks that the opinion "slavery is okay" is valid because he has interpreted his teacher as telling him such opinions are okay, then they problem ain't the teacher, and that brain needs a lot more than a good scrubbing.
