So much for the world of recruiting being quiet while teams begin fall camps in the last few days for the Georgia Bulldogs.

On Friday UGA landed Top247 2018 OLB Adam Anderson from Rome High School.

On Monday UGA flipped three-star defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (Decatur, Ga./Towers) from South Carolina.

His head coach Brian Montgomery of Towers confirmed the news to Dawgs247.

“Yes he de-committed from South Carolina and committed to Georgia,” Montgomery said.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive tackle worked out for UGA staff in June earning an offer and UGA has been trending behind the scenes since then according to multiple sources. With the lack of depth along the defensive line in the 2017 cycle, it was imperative that Georgia defensive line coach Tracy Rocker finds at least two prospects who can contribute up front, and in Wyatt, they have landed an in-state target that impressed the Bulldogs' staff with his size and athleticism.
