Trying to figure out the source of the beat down

I'm at a loss. If you read the posts on here it ranges from poor coaching and lack of talent to allowing cameras on the buses.
If this would have been a close game but still a loss then it would be this play or that turnover or some bad call that would be debated. But I think this kind of loss from the 3rd ranked team in the country playing at home in primetime, in the biggest matchup of the season and the biggest in conference history, by a 6th year coach with a 5th year qb and the highest paid coordinators in the land just makes you dumbfounded.
Again, I'm at a loss and I think everyone is (except the Dabo haters) because no one (even the Dabo haters) saw it coming.

When you get beat that badly....

The expression "All of the above" comes to mind. FSU had a better gameplan, a better quarterback, better athletes at most positions, and better luck.

FSU's O-line Had A Better Plan Than Clemson's O-Line.

Everything else was mental errors on Clemson.

kicker, but that really didn't come into play much in this particular game.Their kicker is a local kid from Mascotte who kicked a 65 yd field goal in high school, a few more 60+ yarders, 2 53 yd field goals in the same HS game and all off the ground.....no tee. I've read that he hasn't missed any this year(?)........and he's a true freshman.

I was responding to a post that said that FSU had better athletes at most positions. I was pointing out that on top of all of their talent, they also have a freshman phenom that most people outside of Florida may not know about. They get the best talent year in and year out, including their kickers. Their kicker last year broke the NCAA record. I think we all can attest to the value and importance of kickers and they have that too. So, yes.....kickers.

I notice during the BC game that the Clemson center tends to have a set pattern as he prepares to snap the ball. The BC defense was responding to his actions. immedimately during the Fl Sate game the Clemson center continues to use a set routine to snap the ball. Even I can figure out the snap of Clemson's offense by watching the Clemson Center's routine. The entire opposing team defense is aware of the routine of the Clemson Centers.

get into a fight with a superior opponent you better make your shots count and hope they are the ones that make the mistakes, not you. Or it's gonna get ugly. And it did.

I didn't see it coming, but I had an uneasy feeling all week long. Just my thoughts, but FSU is basically just more physcial, and they controlled the line of scrimage. Add to that they really had nothing to lose. FSU controlled every aspect of this game from the moment they kicked off. Clemson,on the other hand, had everything to lose, and they played to lose. They were tight, need I say even intimidated by FSU I am not at a loss.FSU was clearly the better team which makes me wonder were we really the third best team in the country at kickoff. I don't think so.
