It is about Riley, has been for some time now.
I think Riley was his dad's position coach, they are tight nonetheless.

he loves Nebraska for some reason. Visited there multiple times and has a good relationship with Riley. I'm glad he made his own decision and its where he felt most comfortable.

Yep, Nebraska. Not a loss for us at all.

The reason I say its not a loss for us is certainly not a slight at him in any way but rather to acknowledge that he has an issue with focusing on occasion.
http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=18745151
"The only hang up on KJ Jr is that on occasion he can lose his focus on the field. During this years semifinal game, he was ejected for fighting. Not only was he suspended from the title game but he will also be forced to sit out a few games to start next year- per a California HS football rules which state any player ejected for fighting must miss the next three games which can carry over into the next season. He'll need to focus a bit more to make it at the next level."
^^^ Hopefully after reading that you'll concur that, perhaps, the last thing Clemson needs is a player who could potentially lose their focus. Cause all it takes is just one instance- one mistake, and we're in the paper for the wrong reason, again. I wish him much success in college.
Sure, James Robinson was wearing a Gators shirt yesterday but I still think its a 50/50 race for him. Plus we're high on up there for Tee Higgins and that's probably gonna be our guy, I hope. Certainly wouldn't mind getting both or some combination including OrTre Smith- maybe a Nico Collins even though that could be reaching. Honestly I wanna see us get Jerry Jeudy too but now I'm just being greedy. He's gonna be special at the next level.
If Donovan Peoples-Jones wants to take a look at us I'd be all for it. That guy is a stud. He's currently the #1 WR on my board as of now. “The success over the past few years with guys like Sammy Watkins and Deandre Hopkins, I think that’s very appealing to a receiver like me who wants to get to the league.” That's a good sign. Hope he visits.
Simply for my amusement let's take 5 WRs in this class (just as conversation here of course). Then I'd say gimme Tee Higgins, JJ Robinson, Jerry Jeudy, Donovan Peoples-Jones and..... lastly I'll take Joseph Lewis (6-2 190) of Los Angeles, CA in a close one. Cause I wanna say Isaiah Hodgins (6-3 190) right here. He might be a real sleeper in this class.

As his dad whispers in his ear "Son, you'll get more playing time in Nebraska. Clemson is already loaded. "

I was thinking the same when I saw it earlier on Team Stream...he likely saw the writing on the wall that he'd not break the starting line-up at Clemson. Nebraska was a surprise but as someone said Riley was his Dad's position coach, then it makes sense...but that's about it, poor kid will likely never even sniff the Top 25 at Nebraska. Regardless, hope he has a good career, seems like a solid kid.

Not to mention Nebraska is a heck of a lot closer than California.

I honestly didn't think he is good enough to be one of our 2017 WR takes. Amari, JJ and Tee could actually be the 3 best WRs in the entire country. Keyshawn would have even fallen behind Shi, Nico, OrTre, and maybe a couple others. Still, good luck to the kid and I hope he ends up having just as much success as his father.
