Key Differences (CU vs. FSU)

Arguments abound regarding the strength and weakness of this program. I noticed a few key differences between the teams during last night's decisive defeat at the hands of division rival FSU.
1. Recruiting - size/strength/talent/skill/depth/intelligence
2. Proper Preparation - mental+physical training/stability/durability
3. Consistency - affected by recruiting smart talent

I cannot argue with the talent level. FSU has done less with more the 10 years or so. They always recruit a top 10 class and most of the time a top 5. If they get half way decent coaching everyone else is in trouble. Miami is the same way along with Texas.

FSU is much more talented than even Miami this year.

FSU accomplished everything in a hostile environment. That fact alone is an indication that their consistent high-level recruiting has finally paid off.

Meanwhile, Clemson deserves credit for above average recruiting, but has not achieved the perfect balance of talent and depth at all positions on all sides of the ball.
