Kennesaw State Home and Home?

Are we doing the home and home with them because Riley Gilliam is from Kennesaw, GA?

I know we have done this in basketball before, scheduling games close to a player’s hometown. I don’t recall doing it in baseball before. But, maybe we have.

We get so many great players from Georgia, especially the northern side of Atlanta, seems like a nice thing to do. Hopefully a lot of players’ friends and family will attend the game at Kennesaw.

Of course we play in Athens every year and Atlanta every other year already, so we are already getting some good Georgia exposure for recruiting purposes.

I doubt its because of one player. I'm sure it's because of the exposure and hotbed of recruiting that Metro Atlanta offers. I'm sure that small stadium in Kennesaw will be full for that game next week.
