Katie George, Kelly Gramlich, Eric Maclain podcast

All of you ACC and WCCP fans may know that Kelly and Eric do podcasts. Recently I watched the one where they interviewed Katie George. Boy is she a sharp and well spoken person. (And i am pretty sure it was not mentioned that she was Miss Kentucky, too.)
Her background is very interesting. If you are looking to kill and hour you could do a lot worse than watching this on Youtube.

Isn’t Katie George the daughter of Phyllis George? Phyllis was a former Miss Kentucky and Miss America who was the first female co-host on CBS Sports. She was alongside Brent Musberger and Jimmy the Greek.

Phyllis George was an illustrious American businesswoman, sports announcer and entertainer who died in 2020 because of health complications. There are speculations that Katie and Phyllis are connected due to their share of identical last names. However, the two don’t seem to be related in any way. Phyllis was seen as a godparent of all sportscasters before her death.
