Justin Flowe sets decision date for December 18th

Dec 3, 2019, 5:39 PM

I've been following recruiting since the late 90's and he'd easily be the best LB prospect we've ever signed imo. Analyst compare him to Reuben Foster.

Better than Stephone Anthony?

Yes on both and it's not even close. He's as athletic as Isaiah Simmons but knows the position, has natural instincts for the position and hits like a truck. I'd be very surprised if he's not a starter after the spring.

Here's the YouTube version. For some reason the Twitter link won't show up here anymore.

Better than Anthony Simmons? Everyone wanted him too.

Anthony Simmons started day 1 and was dominant day 1 too

Dec 3, 2019, 6:59 PM

of course the competition was no where near where it is today.

Simmons was great but Flowe is a generational talent. It's like comparing Tajh to Trevor. I love Tajh more than probably any Tiger ever but I think he would even tell you that he's no Trevor Lawrence. Same goes with Simmons and Flowe.

No offense, but Anthony Simmons was a generational talent at LB, and he would be just as big a beast today as the 90s. Check his measurables. Check his production out of the gate.

Flowe is a great HS LB with a ton of potential. We can only hope that Flowe, if he comes to Clemson, can be mentioned in comparison to Simmons.

That's what I'm talking about though, as a prospect. Simmons I think only started playing football when he got to HS if I remember right and most of those years he was at Safety. Pretty sure nobody thought when he signed that he would end up having the career he did. With Flowe, that kind of career is expected.

I'll put it this way, according to 247, Flowe is the #3 LB prospect of all time. Only behind Ernie Simms and DJ Williams.

Or it might be like comparing Tajh to Hunter Johnson. We don't know yet. I will love landing him, and I think that he will be a great one, but he is not yet. In the 80's and 90's we were arguably LBU. If Flowe is even mentioned with those guys then he will have had a great college career.

Aside from Trevor Lawrence, I can't remember a single recruit that I've wanted this badly. For so long it seems we've been just serviceable at LB. But with Isaiah reminding us just how dominant an elite LB can be, and his impending departure, we really need this guy.

He's one of the most explosive LB prospects of the last decade... just imagine the havoc he's going to wreak crashing downhill behind the likes of Bresee, Capehart, Murphy, Tre, etc.

Star ratings maybe, but Levon Kirkland, Anthony Simmons, Jeff Davis, there are more what was the termites name Keith...know he lead the nation in sacks I think. Would love to have him join the rankings of best LB but Drinking bourbon and the orange kool-aid tonight so gotta earn it.
