He is not thinking this through, because I am pretty sure Castro already sent the Drug dealers, criminals, and rapists during the Mariel Crisis, which I recall was under the watch of the greatest president in the history of the Universe, who, as we all know and under the direction of Lee Atwater, just pretended to be a racist to gather votes in the South.

in response to the BLM protests last year. One thing in the law was it forbid the blocking of roads and highways by protesters. So when the Cubans in Miami protested, they blocked a major highway, and the strangest thing didn't happen. That law was never evoked. No arrest. No prosecutions.
Funny how that works.

many times, after that law was passed, BLM protestors or left-leaning protestors blocked roads without getting arrested? Or was it a complete lockdown on such activity, save for this Cuban protest you reference?

Cubans are the first to test it in Florida. It is a complete lockdown on blocking roads and highways. Bunch of other stuff as well, but that provision was what what the Cubans broke, by blocking a major highway.
Now let BLM block the same highway....lol
Of course DeSantis was pressed on the issue and he said it was up to local law enforcement, and local law I guess didn't choose to use it. So it's one of those "optional" state laws I guess.
