Well, if what he said is true about he didn't really take anything, it shouldn't be hard to find out what it was that put the trace amounts of Ostarine in his system. Or at least that's what I'm thinking, it should be kind of easy to test what ever chemicals he do take if it's so few like he said!!!

Virtually impossible to know where it came from unless he literally tracks every single thing he eats (or uses).....and, sets aside a sample to be tested at a later date. It doesn't have to be a chemical, it could have been ingested.

The same manufacturing plant that could make supplements that has Ostarine in it (which can to be sold at GNC or any obscure online nutrition stores), could also be making something completely irrelevant like Clif Bars (ex.) or even Bread or Muffin mixes.

In this case, he could ate something from a restaurant that had the smallest amount of Ostarine in it.

I rep PowerBar, which is on the Cologne list in Europe. They do the best they can through testing and protocol to minimize the chance of a contaminated substance getting into a product line that should be free and clear.

i agree with your assesment BUT

i clicked on your marketeer propaganda site and didst show what was tested and which lab was doing the testing or by what methods.

additionally to state:

"Dietary supplements - unlike pharmaceuticals - do not go through an official approval process. This means, that no regulatory authority checks the accuracy of the label or the safety of the contents before they are sold to athletes."

is a stretch of the truth . The CFR par t11 clearly states you have to develop specs and test products to ensure they meet claims and limits of contaminates. There are plenty of 3rd party auditors check the food manufacturers yearly and so does the FDA.

The CFR - Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 clearly states NEw dietary ingredients have to go through a FDA approval process. which is often lengthy

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Just to clarify..

There is nothing about me (...or the website) that promoting or selling anything. So, not sure why the use of marketeer, or, the use of Propaganda as there is nothing biased or misleading,..and it surely isn't used to promote a political cause.

The whole point of linking that website was to show (as an example) that there are 3rd party auditors that are checking for this kinda stuff as it's a real problem.

However, it isn't enough, especially in the cases of DHop and even further back with our own players and 100's of other NCAA athletes around the country that have fallen victim the last 8-10 years, unfairly, to to a broken system and testing protocols, IMO, with regards specifically to Ostarine.

When can these "supplement" companies be looked at?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

TigerCC is dead on...

at these levels you will never find it. He would have had to save everything he ate within time period( whatever the time required for ostrerine to filter out of your body).. and send a sample out for testing.

Whatever contained the osterine could have just been in 1 bowl, bag, bar, drink, cup of coffee, tea, juice.. He could go buy the same exact product from a different batch/lot and it may not be there.

Problem is:

Aug 2, 2022, 4:58 PM [ in reply to Re: TNET: DeAndre Hopkins wishes NFL PED policy 'wasn't so black and white' ]

The supplement companies that have Ostarine in their products are perfectly legal to do so and sell at places like GNC.

However, the manufacturing plants that make these products also make products that are not supposed to have Ostarine in them.

Heck, the contamination can occur before then during sourcing.

The plants may make 100's if not 1000's of other products (energy bars, bread/muffin mixes, drinks, skin & hair products, etc, etc).

In the rare occasion, contamination happens (on the machines, conveyor belts, by human hand even, etc).

The testing for Osterine is SUPER sensitive.

A really eye opening articles about how this happens.

Entertainers

They're entertainers... same as WWE... Why does anyone care what they use as supplements? I don't care how an entertainer chooses to care for his body. I just want to be entertained...

We are asking them to play a very rough physically demanding

sport. Athletes will get hurt. If growth hormones will help in the healing process to get the star back on the field, isn't that what we all want? Win-Win.

If it could be regulated in that manner, then who would care? Of course no one wants to see athletes like the Chinese "women" or the entire Russian team that were banned.

Lawyers have fubared this country. There is a meme going around about car owners manual. 50 years ago it showed you how to adjust the valves in the engine. Now it tells you not to drink the fluid in the battery.
That’s all the NFL and NCAA are. People that argue for a living.

It’s amazing how 99.99% of NFL players have managed to not fail a drug test. I’m sure hopkins is somehow being framed
