One method to eliminate holding using jerseys

Remember years ago when Georgia Tech wore tearaway jerseys. Maybe it should be required for receivers and running backs to have tearaway jerseys, or would that be too costly?

Danny Ford had his DLs wear tear away jerseys when he played ND in 1979 because he had seen on film how much the ND OLs held. I think he might have used them in a few other games too.

I remember that Georgia's RBs went through several jerseys every game.

One way to eliminate holding is just do away with it It would apply to both sides and would definitely speed up play.
And may the better holder win.
