The Tigers, with a little bit of work left to do, could be in the discussion for a national seed. Baseball postseason is different than March Madness, but in my eyes that is the equivalent of a 1 or 2 seed in the NCAA tournament in basketball. Which is elite. We all were excited about Monte taking over the team, but there were definitely some doubts once the season started. But here we sit, as a possible spot in the top 8 teams in the country for a national seed in the playoffs. Which they give to teams expected to get to Omaha. Pretty good spot to be in considering everything throughout the year!
