Other outlets try to keep pace, but the Lunge is the ONE source for all the shid-related news YOU want and need

Just read that.

It is a real thing here in my yard. There are only 2 small sections of my neighborhood that aren't tied into the city sewer because of the years built. I am lucky to have one of those.

Just did a big backyard drainage project to route all of my gutters underground and out of my backyard to help keep things a bit drier. Hopefully it will help.

I've got a pretty good slope so no issues yet...but I'm waiting. There's a swale on the other side of the property I could white-water raft down the rains get so heavy sometimes

The folks we bought our house from replaced the septic

before we closed. Apparently doing the conventional underground deal was no longer an option, so now we got a six foot tall mound out in the back yard. Less to mow, I guess.

They seeded the lawn after it was all done, but it was late October/early November and I doubt any grass will grow. Even less to mow, I guess.

My neighbor down the way had one of those. Looked like a burial mound. They covered it in flowering plants a while back and now it could almost pass as yard feature.

That's prime seeding time if you have fescue.***
