Don't worry man... Half those South Carolina college fans are just one short season away from wearing Clemson hats with "gamecocks" on the brim. Lol

I've lived in the area since 1971. And I've survived. Not bad at all really...as long as Clemson wins the football game. The five year run was tough. But, that's over now. Besides, most of my Gamecock friends are nice people. Think of it like an Episcopalian living amid a bunch of southern Baptist. They aren't bad people once you get passed the snake handlers....

Best of luck to you sir.
Fortunately for me, my wife bleeds as much orange as I do, and we both agreed that we would never move into the armpit of the south.

Good luck sir!

You have my sympathy! Word of warning...DO NOT watch the local sports. You will think the yardbirds have undefeated seasons every year. Not the first bit of reality in that part of the world. Bless you!

Oh yeah, watch the local sports, it's comedic relief.

LOL.....I've been here since I left the army in 1972, albeit

at a little advantage living on Lake Murray in the Ballentine/Irmo area.

Fortunately, most of the chicken odor has wafted itself away by the time it reaches my area, so life here is somewhat tolerable. Two hours either way you can be on the beach, in the mountains or at Death Valley, and the Vista and Zoo are great places to visit. You'll find thousands of Clemson folks throughout the area, too.
