If you are referring to the site I think you are they are worse than the Scout site that Philpot used to run and it was God awful.

Are you referring to the article will Vandervort wrote today concerning Tim Bourret. If so you’re off base if you didn’t think the article was spot on. Too bad I didn’t know or hear about it on tnet.
More important to get a funny gif from tbalm or talk about who is or isn’t a pumper or dumper vs what makes clemson clemson.
Honestly, I think they got some good stuff on there. Much more in depth information about ummm Tiger teams and interviews.

Yep, guess so. Probably shouldn’t have said that but a friend and co worker of mine is hanging his hat and badge up this month.
Ranger Rick at Givahans Ferry SP. he’s a big, no huge tiger fan and supporter of Clemson like me since birth. Anyway he’s also a big fan of that other site... guess it was just a trigger.

It's all tiger news imo . I don't get into the politics of it or whatever . I see something about my tigers I will usually click on it , don't spend a lot of time thinking about the source until AFTER I've read it .
Think it's funny when people talk about competing sites where the Clemson Tigers are the subject .

I think most people get upset with them because they put out information a lot of times that either isn’t true or comes back to bite Clemson.
For example, they were telling everyone Montravious Adams was coming to Clemson for months and look what happened.
They say they don’t put anything out that would hurt Clemson yet if something comes across their desk that no other site has put out they will put it out just to be first. It just feels like amateur hour over there sometimes

Not doubt they get ahead of themselves from time to time but for the most part are accurate. BTW even the coaches thought Adams was coming to CU so I am not sure how you can fault them for that. Interesting that every site has groupies who think their site is the best. Why can’t we enjoy several Clemson sites without complaining about free information?

Really? Montravious Adams? Wasn’t this like 3 or 4 years ago? Was this the same website who claimed Raekwon McMillan was a tiger a few days before he committed to Ohio st?. I really don’t know. I visit Tnet and STS, that’s it. But I do remember a certain website claiming inside information about a couple of recruits a few years ago which turned out to be wrong and now they’re the bush league of Clemson websites. Give them a break and move on. I’ve seen a few Tnetters post gifs of champagne bottles opening when we were expecting a certain recruit to come to Clemson but went elsewhere yet we still respect those posters and don’t give them $hit like we do other websites who claimed the same misinformation. I don’t know all of the facts but it’s pretty sad if we’re still slamming that certain website supporting Clemson who made a couple errors 3-5 yrs ago. Again, idk all of the facts just going off what I know.

It's OK Kerigantoo, it's OK. The whole "if the new hire isn't a Clemson alum the sky is falling" doesn't exactly strike me as a hot take.
While I would personally prefer we hire one of our own, I'm sure DR has a good candidate in mind and I don't buy Will's assertion that if it isn't a Clemson person, they will treat it "as a job" and have no passion for what they do. I call b.s. on that take.

Read the article and agreed with the overall sentiment that someone with a Clemson degree would treat it as more than just a job and try to uphold the standard set by Bradley and Bourret. That doesn't seem like a scorching hot take to me.
As for "the other site" as a whole, it can get a little preachy at times but so does TNet on occasion (god forbid we talk about OL recruiting). I like to look at all the Clemson sites and make the determination of what's valuable information and what's not.

Seriously though, I would like to see a Clemson grad hired but I'll trust this administration. They seemed to know what they are doing so far.

I read that site from time to time and they do have some good content.
This article in my opinion is BS. He has made a few other posts about it. It is just because he is friends with the person who is apparently qualified for the job.
The issue is that the site owner posts a bunch of click bait and he also has extremely thin skin. He is constantly getting butthurt over other posters that disagree with him.
He also posts false information about recruits based on rumors. There have been quite a few recruits and parents that haven't been happy with him.
