Just hit me that college football is over

Jan 18, 2014, 1:07 PM

Could be two of the best NFL games of all time tomorrow. Soak it in people, soak it in.

I just dont enjoy the NFL now the way I once did. I watch the playoffs usually but I used to be more into it

Thought the same thing this morning. I used to love college basketball but the one and done rule has ruined it for me.

that's absurd.

none of these teams belong on the same field as some of the teams of the past. New England is a shell of itself over the last decade. This is probably the 10th best SF team ever, if that. Denver has had several much better teams before. I guess you can say this is Seattle's best team ever (maybe).

Come on, get real.

Peyton vs Brady is as close as it gets to must watch football EVER. Denver set all time records, belichick is the best coach in pro sports, and Seattle vs 49ers should be the most physical, mean, just straight up cold blooded fight of the year.

you think it's awesome, good for you

I think - no, I KNOW - it's two HOF QBs past their prime going at it for probably the last time. The other game matches two QBs in their second seasons against salty but mouthy defenses. Forgive me if I don't quite see "best-ever" in these two games.

The Niners-Cowboys-Giants-Packers-Bears showdowns back in the 80's and 90's put these to shame. Likewise the Steelers-Raiders-Dolphins back in the 70's. We'll never see teams like those again probably.

I'm glad you're super-excited about this. I'm really not.

I could argue Peyton and Brady had their best year ever

But I'm too young for those rivalries but I understand where you're coming from.
