Just finished eating one of the best strip steaks

I’ve ever grilled.
Always had difficulty grilling strip steaks, temp/time, but these had great marbling, more than normally see for strips.
Had some wine with dinner, now some Casa Noble on ice ??

OK, cool. I was just making sure someone didn’t slip you the wrong cut at the grocery store. The biggest visual difference between a Ribeye steak and a New York Strip is the fat distribution. While a Ribeye is marbled throughout the meat, the Strip is more often characterized by a thick rim of fat. This causes the Strip to have more of the signature steak “chew,” as opposed to the Ribeye, which is smoother.
Your comment about the marbling had me thinking you were confused as to which cut you were actually grilling. I’m sure the wine was great though. Pinot Grigio?

You got me on the wine thing. I don’t know #### about grape juice. If I have to drink it, I mix it with Monster or Red Bull. Which one are you supposed to drink with a good ribeye?

Nah, really not trolling. This is just like the time you got mad because I questioned whether your swordfish was truly wild instead of farm raised. If you think about it, it’s all just a roll of the dice. For all you know, there is a stoned 17 year old behind the counter just throwing stuff into the displays.
Consider it a win. You might have got ribeye and only paid for strip.
