First let me say I have total confidence in Dabo to get us out of this hole and wouldn't presume to tell him how to do it. But as merely a fan, I wonder if given all the injuries at WR about going more 2TE and 2WR formations. We have a QB who could certainly run some plays out of the Wildcat, 3 good RB's to rotate, and would get more single coverage on our WR. Plus our TE's can pick up some safe receptions on misdirection or crossing routes. Could also help in pass pro.

aren't good enough on the line to block everybody that is up close to the line. We can't throw the ball down the field and we can't back people off the line of scrimmage. We don't have much speed in the backfield either.

Can't really disagree with that in theory and I like the spread. But our spread formations haven't worked well with our QB/WR combo right now. I think we have the beef for a little smash-mouth with 2 TE's and a big QB running, and then throw some off that. As I said, just a thought.............
