Jordan Williams - in the opinion of those who read this

Aug 6, 2016, 10:54 AM

What are our chances or landing this guy, in your opinion and based on what you have read and heard? 50%? Less? 60-70%?

Just looking for feedback...

99%...he is as much of a lock as can be when dealing with a 17 year old male

I would say 90% from what I heard......

You can never know 100% when it comes to high school kids but from what I have read and heard on this and other sites it appears he is Tigertown bound....

Agree 99%. Also think from watching The Opening he is ranked much lower than his talent showed. His use of hands was fantastic which means he will likely be ready to contibute assuming his weight is in line from day 1. Big get.

Hearing he's ours as well.

What the earlier poster said about Williams standing out at the Opening was very true...which actually was unusual this year. Apparently there's a bumper crop of very good offensive linemen this year...and the DL crop this year, nationally, is terrible, one of the worst collective DL pools that's ever happened in recent memory, and Williams is actually one of the few quality ends available in this class. Which makes him unusually valuable. But a lot of national programs have very, very thin boards at the end spot this year, which means there's going to be a lot of collective wincing if/when he declares for Clemson.

Based purely on conjecture based on the opinion off of

message boards and expert predictions, I'd say:

70% Clemson
15% Tennessee
10% V Tech
5% UVA
