How good is iTunes "other artists you might like" tree?

From Jason Isbell, I followed a few branches of iTunes suggested artists and got some of the following, which all had some stuff I liked (some of them I had heard before):

if you always secretly liked the McCartney, Rhianna, Kanye song "FourFiveSeconds" but didn't want to tell anyone, Jaime Wyatt did a pretty strong cover.
