John Newman and Cincinnati playing Houston...

Now on espn2. Newman #15 they said was the Bearcats' defensive specialist. Love Wes Miller as a coach, but now he is at the Cincinnati he is waiting for the UNC job if Hubert Davis fails there in next couple of seasons.

I also like Kelvin Sampson a lot. A lot of people forget he is from NC. I know he got in trouble with the NCAA many years ago, but it was just too many phone calls and allowed now.
I'm not saying Clemson would hire him, nor that he would be interested. I think he is going to retire at Houston. Just built a really nice arena, has a top program and moving to the Big 12.

Newman is one of the few Clemson players who played a lot who didn't get better, at least on offense.

A few? He got better from his freshman to sophomore season. The injury he after that really slowed him down.

True nctgs. Injuries did cause Newman to regress for awhile. I really hated to see Newman go.
