It was resolved before we ever considered signing him. Not only that, he was never on public media showing ZERO remorse and blasting stupid white people for his crime. Not only that, Blackshear has a laundry list of similar incidents and he's been a known thief for a long time.

By the police record, the Clemson young man involved was 14 years old at the time(not that excuses criminal activity, and appears to have rehabilitated himself) and 4+ years away from signing on with Clemson. The current Carolina player with troubles is 18 and signed RIGHT BEFORE this behavior came to light. I do believe that the difference between a(just become) freshman and a last term high school senior in personal growth and maturity should be considered here.
