Word is that staff unity is nonexistent and some are just waiting for it to be over. I am very disappointed in our AD for not dealing with the ongoing pattern of non-performance last year...so we must suffer through one more year of debasing a great baseball legacy.

Which is a total shame to see:
1. A program with this history in such a mess
2. Burning kid's college careers, waiting on a season to be over.

five years ago and getting blasted by the Kool Aid drinkers. The self-appointed lynch mod that Crump & Bmeist let run this forum worship anyone associated with Clemson. They mercilessly bash all other schools, programs, coaches, and fans, but have blind faith in anyone that gets a paycheck from Clemson. They are like political ideologues or Evangelicals. They care more about people than Clemson and our athletic programs. Their loyalty is to people, not Clemson. I am a CU alum. My loyalty is to Clemson. No coach or president is bigger than Clemson. But this TNET mob worshiped Bowden & Barker the way they worship Dabo & Jack. They refuse to see any fault in their anointed. Then ruthlessly bashed TB as soon as he was gone.
By the way, when I started calling for Jack's head I provided extensive analysis of his record. The evidence has been clear for at least 5 years that the baseball program has been in slow steady decline. The past 3 years it has been painfully obvious. Sadly the Kool Aid crowd is incapable of seeing beyond their blind loyalty. They are incapable of seeing the obvious facts!!

So true! Fans blind loyalty to a declining coach and program have ruined baseball.

Definitely a sour start. I think this season will be telling as to whether we go a different direction. Even the proverbial pumpers can't keep going forever.
But anyone who's got a problem with Dabo is a lunatic. What more could a person want from a fb coach? What more do they want from our program? The future is bright here...even dumpers are absent in that arena.

dead horse beating crap. Like an old bear coming out of
hibernation in the spring or Godzilla strolling into town
and roaring. There will be plenty of followers. Let's
just keep beating the %*$#@! out of this dead horse.
Jack may or may not need to step aside after the season
(he will be 61 in March), but our "classy", "family friendly",
"something in these hills" folks don't need to keep beating
him with a bat over and over and over. And over. But we're
anonymous message boarders; that's what we do.
