Watching DJ's presser, something is off. A manger took a run at it over the weekend. I disagree withthe manger's assessment that he's not humble. I feel like I see some Aaron Hernandez deep in his eyes though. Unrelated, I'd like to slap that styrofoam cup/lid/straw right out of his hands. Somebody in the AD needs to help the kid with that.
Ws are good.
We tried hard to F that game up and even made mistakes trying to do that.

there weren't shower stalls and that it was an open shower and every one could see you. He doesn't have a small dink, but it's just really thin. Like a pencil. Will "Beer Can" Shipley was one of the main protagonists this year.

Shipley and Mafah both looks like the real deal. Do we not have some speedy backup cornerback to return punts? Maybe we are so worried about injuries we just roll out a backup who can fair catch.
The top five thing is typical Dabo over-enthusiasm. What bothered me is that Dabo blamed Ngata "100%" for the INT where DJ underthrew it into double coverage. What more was Ngata supposed to do there? The refusal to put any blame on DJ, even when its obvious he screwed up, and even when it means blaming other players by name, is baffling. There is definitely something going on behind the scenes.
The shame of the bad offense is that it is overshadowing how great our defense is. This is the best pair of corners we have had in a long time. The defensive line is fast and nasty.

Ship is definitely alpha...first noticed it against Pitt. Late in the game guys guys were just going through the motions and he was in the backfield clapping his hands like "let's go, man!". Gonna be fun to watch...

little deeper into what happened? It looked to me like we spotted them points again and we were a move or two away from blowing them out. BUT...we shit the bed again. 3 missed field goals NEVER happens. Fumble recovery for touchdown? DJ has personally given 18 points this year, two int returns for TDs and a fumble in the endzone (I Think)

went up and down the field between the 20s, but just bogged down there. Missing 3 FGs is what made the game close. Left at least 9 points on the field there. Even making 2 of those and game is out of reach.
FSU only had one good drive all day (TD in 1st Q). After that, they only scored on a 80 yd fluke play and a fumble return. Defense just mauled their O line.

In the Tommy era, when we were 5-3 and calculating the 12 obscure ways that things has to go perfectly for us to make the ACC championship game, it was still fun.
This team is just no fun to watch, at all. There’s no chemistry, few guys that you really find yourself pulling for, and most importantly it looks like they are having no fun whatsoever. Maybe it’s just me but this is a painful team to watch.

regarding your Hernandez comment. Dabo thinks he's the cat's, and I've figured he knows better than I, but the longer this goes the more I'm starting to wonder. The cup/straw thing looks like more than just inattention; its no one thing.
